Baby Journey continues its growth journey. The company has now entered a major collaboration with Akademibokhandeln, which joins as a new strategic key partner.

When Michaela Forni was expecting her first child, she felt there was no pregnancy app that truly took her seriously and was there for her when the healthcare system fell short.

As CEO of the pregnancy app Baby Journey, she has gone from influencer to tech entrepreneur and a powerful voice in the baby industry.

Revenues for influencer Michaela Forni’s parenting app Baby Journey are soaring, with the company doubling its profit. This year, the business is scaling up in Europe and heading for yet another record year.

“It feels like we’ve cracked the code,” says Michaela Forni, CEO and founder of Baby Journey.

The founding trio Michaela Forni, Damon Foroozesh, and Timothy Forni have seen sales take off – and profits doubled to SEK 4 million last year.

Nine out of ten pregnant women in Sweden use her app. Now, Michaela Forni, newly appointed CEO of Baby Journey, has her sights set on Germany. Profits are growing significantly – driven by targeted ads aimed at parents-to-be.

Baby Journey, which today is both an app for young parents and an influencer marketing agency, has global expansion in sight. In connection with this, co-founder, influencer, and entrepreneur Michaela Forni is stepping in as CEO.

Parents’ companion to the last visit to the childcare center – this is Baby Journey’s next big move in its vision to support and reassure parents during the toddler years, when the app is expanded to be used up to the age of 5. With this launch, Baby Journey positions itself not only as the most comprehensive player in Sweden but also as the first of its kind across Europe. 

Zimbabwe is one of the countries where maternal and childbirth care is lacking. Michaela Forni, who travelled there with UNICEF’s Secretary General, Pernilla Baralt, took the stage at the gala to share her experiences.

Last autumn, the global premium brand for prams and baby products, Bugaboo, launched a pitch to select a new Nordic agency. It is now confirmed that Baby Journey has won the assignment as Bugaboo’s Nordic partner for PR and Influencer Marketing. The collaboration marks an exciting new phase for both Baby Journey and Bugaboo.

Today is Mother’s Day – a day to celebrate all mothers and perhaps give an extra thought to those living in countries where access to good and equal healthcare is limited. Zimbabwe is one such country, where maternal and childbirth care is lacking. Recently returned from there is Michaela Forni, who travelled together with UNICEF’s Secretary General, Pernilla Baralt.
